Community Food Growth

This project is apart of an on going development of the Inverclyde Council’s Community Food Growth Strategy. I have been visiting different community gardens and allotments across Inverclyde and carrying out informal consultations with those who run and attend these groups. I have developed the following graphics to be input into the design of the community food growth strategy which will be published to comittee. I based my idea on what I have seen within the gardens, as the food is naturally grown, there is a lot of ‘wonky veg’. I felt this was fitting to show that community food growing isn’t about producing supermarket quality goods, it is about learning, working together and supporting community memembers with food growing as a bonus.
